24-year-old fatally struck by car in Inwood

Police say a man trying to cross a busy roadway in Nassau County has been hit and killed by a car.
The accident happened along the Nassau Expressway in Inwood.
Police say the man was on Mott Avenue after 9 p.m. Monday when a car going north on the expressway hit him.
The unidentified 24-year-old died at the hospital.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and has not been charged.
