The Ducks went on to win their fifth straight in the final matchup of a six-game series at Fairfield Properties Ballpark in Central Islip.
The hometown team beat the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars 7-1, after a thrilling 5-run first inning.
They hit the road Tuesday, before returning back home on Friday, September 11, for the final homestand of the regular season.
