It will be fair again today with sunshine and warm temperatures. It's slightly more humidity but not by much. Highs in the mid-80s. There's some thunderstorms tonight after sunset, probably 10 p.m. through 3 a.m. in the northern half of the state. Storms will be coming from Pennsylvania, and they pass through with limited impacts. However, there could be thunder in the middle of the night.

Tomorrow is fair with sun and clouds. It turns muggier by the midday. Clouds build by Friday night and rain arrives for Saturday. It will be a rainy-day Saturday especially for the southern half of New Jersey. However, there will be some rain in northern zones, but not as much as southern New Jersey. Rain is most likely from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. with improvement in the mid-afternoon north. Sunday looks decent with a mix of sun and clouds. A spot shower is possible for Sunday afternoon.

A heat wave is expected next week with highs in the lower to mid-90s. There's a good possibility that highs will reach 100 degrees for next Thursday.
