Broadway’s biggest night: 79th Tony Awards honor top musicals, plays, and performances

The 79th Annual Tony Awards were held Sunday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York, hosted by Pink.

The top honors went to Liberation, which won Best Play, and Schmigadoon!, which won Best Musical.

Revival awards went to Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman for Best Revival of a Play and Ragtime for Best Revival of a Musical.

Among the acting winners, John Lithgow won Best Leading Actor in a Play for Giant, while Lesley Manville won Best Leading Actress in a Play for Oedipus.

In musical categories, Joshua Henry and Caissie Levy won leading performance awards for Ragtime. Featured acting honors went to Alden Ehrenreich, Laurie Metcalf, Ali Louis Bourzgui and Shoshana Bean.
