The B12 bus line, which runs from East New York to Prospect Lefferts Gardens, will now be equipped with Automated Camera Enforcement equipment.

The ACE program captures drivers who park in bus lanes, block bus stops or illegally double park.

First-time offenders will receive a $50 fine. Repeat offenders will receive a $250 fine.

This route is the latest route added to the already 60 routes that are in effect across the city.

The MTA says the automated cameras allow buses to run faster, safer and more reliably.

Drivers tell News 12 the city should put resources into other avenues.

“Put money into housing and not the buses. I don’t care about the buses. We got kids, we gotta pay rent. The rent’s too high," said one driver.
