Racist graffiti was found at Northport High School, district officials say.
In a letter sent to the community, the superintendent says the graffiti was found in one of the bathrooms.
They did not say what was written.
The district plans to provide “presentations and learning opportunities to help students understand the seriousness of incidents like this.”
The superintendent says they have been in contact with Suffolk police and they are conducting their own investigation too.
News 12 reached out to police for more information and are waiting to hear back.
