A Copiague man accused of killing a man in a hit-and-run Wednesday on Sunrise Highway has been arrested, according to police.
Authorities say Lloyd Berger drove away after striking Louis Lasusa as he was walking in the westbound lanes along Montauk Highway.
Lasusa was pronounced dead at the scene.
Berger has since been charged with leaving the scene of a crash.
He is expected to appear in court Saturday.
