After turning struggles into strength this program aims to give kids in the community a home away from home.

Each One Teach One is a new program in East Tremont that aims to instill confidence and keep kids off the streets.
This program was started eight months ago after co-owner Jose Rodriguez was left in a coma from being shot.
"If that wouldn't have happened to me, I probably wouldn't be here...I would probably be in jail or dead," said Rodriguez.
After turning struggles into strength this program aims to give kids in the community a home away from home.
"A lot of kids sometimes don't have a place to go or people to look up to and this has become a safe haven, and I think that's essential," said Coach Robb Gomez.
