According to officials, companies will use your data to estimate the highest price you're willing to pay for a product. It also means two shoppers could see two different prices for the same product at the same time.
Some stores even use digital price tags to update prices in seconds. If the set of bills passes, the attorney general says those would be banned too.
The legislation would also allow the attorney general to go after companies that use surveillance pricing with fines and money back for consumers.
The bills will be sent to the governor for approval.
