A North Bellmore man is facing charges and is accused of harassing an LIRR conductor.

MTA police say the conductor approached Michael Woodsby just after midnight.

News 12 has been told he appeared to be having a mental health episode.

That is when the 46-year-old became distressed and grabbed the conductor.

Officials say an off-duty NYPD officer on the train intervened.

Woodsby was arrested at the Hicksville train station and taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The conductor refused medical attention.
