A significant police presence shut down a section of Old Country Road in Plainview as authorities investigated a serious car crash that occurred early Wednesday evening. The road was closed in both directions for approximately five blocks.
The crash took place near the intersection of Old Country Road and Manor Street at around 6 p.m. A witness to the incident, Edenilson Francia, described a disturbing scene: “I saw three cars on the left side and then I saw a body on the floor. It was horrific,” he said, recounting the aftermath of the crash.
