Police: Man found injured on side of Montauk Highway in Moriches pronounced dead

A man who was discovered unconscious on Montauk Highway in Moriches this week has died of his injuries, according to police.
Authorities say John Ballard, of Mastic, was found near Louise Road at around 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
He had been riding an electric skateboard when he fell and was injured.
He was pronounced dead on Wednesday, according to police.
