A 7-year-old boy from Brooklyn died Saturday after being found unresponsive in a Bay Shore pool, police say.
Officers responded to the scene at North Thompson Drive at around 8:30 p.m.
The child was taken to South Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
