Massapequa High School had students use virtual reality Wednesday to see the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.
The simulators from the “Save A Life Tour” showed they how quickly they can lose control of a car.
“The kids realize pretty quickly that it’s not a toy – they realize that it is impossible for your driving to be accurate while being impaired and that’s a good message for our students,” says Massapequa High School Dean of Students John Musmacker.
