Police are searching for the suspects wanted after three men were assaulted with a baseball bat in Smithtown.

News 12 has been told the men were walking on West Main Street early Sunday morning when a vehicle stopped near them.

Police say seven men got out and started attacking the victims with a bat.

During the assault, one of the three victims got control of the bat and struck a window of the vehicle, breaking it.

The seven attackers got back in the car and drove off.The three victims were taken to the hospital.
