Mohammad Sinan has been far away from home for over a year.
The 30 year old from India is on a journey that will bring him to 75 different countries across three continents - all by car.
Today, he arrived on Long Island, where he met with members of the Suffolk County Police Department. Police gifted him a hat, a bumper sticker, and a check to help him pay for gas.
"Long Island is beautiful,” Sinan said. “I had a different opinion about the USA because I heard people won't be so friendly but it's totally the opposite.”
The next stop on Mohammad’s journey is Washington D.C. He hopes his journey to California will help him into the Guinness Book of World Records.
