The North Shore could see some of the highest totals from this storm, according to News 12 Storm Watch Team meteorologists.

"I'll probably stay home tomorrow." said one man at the LIRR station in Manhasset.
"I work from home, so I'm not worried about getting out and the Town of North Hempstead does a great job with roads." said Tom Rice, of Port Washington.
Also on the North Shore, Andre Sorrentino, the superintendent of Highways with the Town of Huntington said salt, sand and plows are ready to be deployed.
Sorrentino said, "We're going to hit it with boots on the ground all the men and women are ready to go."
If you're taking the LIRR during the storm, the MTA said de-icing trains will be used to keep third rails clear, crews will make sure switches are clear and operable and teams are on standby in case trains do get stuck.
MTA President Janno Lieber said, "If you are traveling, MTA will be operating. and we intend to get you where you're headed, not to leave anybody stranded."
