“Many” attackers descended upon a Hicksville home through a basement door and used a “large metal” sword, a piece of wood and a handgun to assault at least five victims, according to police.

According to court documents, one of the victims needed “emergency stitches required to prevent the foot from being amputated, as well as significant blood loss.”

Additionally, a car outside the Princess Street home was damaged.

Only one of the alleged attackers has been arrested.

Simranjeet Singh, a 27-year-old from Hicksville, is charged with attempted murder, assault, gang assault, burglary, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Singh allegedly swung the sword at multiple victims, injuring them. The prosecutor said if convicted of the top charge, he faces up to 25 years behind bars.

According to court documents, Singh said “I took the sword and damaged the car” and “They owe me about $15,000.”

Singh’s attorney said the charges are “well beyond” what prosecutors will be able to prove and said her client did not do any damage to any human. She said he didn’t know why they were going to the house.

The judge set bail at $1 million cash or $2 million bond. Orders of protection were issued for the victims.
