Walt Whitman HS students spread holiday cheer at Huntington assisted living facility

The high school students sang carols, took part in board games with residents and also wrapped holiday gifts.

Students from Walt Whitman High School visited the Sunrise of Huntington assisted living facility to spread holiday cheer.

"We have a great community at the high school, so I think it's great to spread student cheer," said high school junior Grace Davis.

"The students make everyone here feel happy because we are away from our families," said senior resident Joan Valle.

The high school students sang carols, took part in board games with residents and also wrapped holiday gifts.
