A Rockville Centre man alleged attacked clerk before stealing just $2.
Police say the female worker had repeatedly asked 27-year-old Stephen Jensen to leave Venom Beer and Convenience on Merrick Road Sunday at around 2:30 p.m.
They say the suspect then pushed the victim and threw a metal case at her.
Detectives say when Jensen left, the victims realized he took two $1 bills that had been on display.
Police say when they arrested Jenson, the money was in his jacket.
