A 49-year-old Levittown woman was arrested on Friday night for aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law.
Police say they approached Michelle Stanchfield after noticing vehicle infractions at around 9:20 p.m. They say she had slurred speech, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol.
Police also found an 11-year-old girl inside the vehicle.
Authorities say Stanchfield faces multiple charges and is expected to face a judge in Hempstead.
