A vote on the fate of a historic North Merrick farmhouse was tabled Tuesday.
The Hempstead Town Landmark Preservation Commission decided not to vote on whether to designate the Bedell Dairy Farm property a landmark.
The status would stop the current owner of the site from tearing it down and building three new homes on the lot.
It could go up for a vote at the next meeting, but none are scheduled as of now.
