Newlyweds may want to say “I do” to Jersey City. The popular waterfront city has been rated one of the top places to live for young couples, according to a study by StorageCafe.

The storage company analyzed data from the largest cities with a population of over 200,000 to help newlyweds choose the best location for their new home. Jersey City ranked No. 20 on the study.

The rankings were based on 15 metrics covering key aspects related to a city's potential to support married life, including the economic landscape, local housing availability and costs, access to a like-minded social crowd, and community amenities.

In Jersey City, 44% of residents are married, and just 10% of locals are divorced, according to the study. Millennials make up 40% of the population in the city.

According to the study, the average millennial brings in $113,000 a year, making the city a solid place to build a stable future.

Arlington, Virginia ranked as No. 1 for best city for newlyweds. Virginia took three of the 10 best spots for newlyweds.
