Two of the four suspects charged with scattering human remains across Long Island were back in court today.
A court conference was held for Jeffrey Mackey and Alexis Nieves. Mackey’s case was adjourned until April 11 and Nieves until April 9.
News 12 reported that they were initially released without bail with a GPS monitor.
Mackey’s attorney said at this point he has not received any evidence of his client’s guilt from the district attorney and his client continues to profess his innocence.
Mackey, Nieves, Amanda Wallace and Steven Brown are accused of scattering the remains of Donna Conneely and a second victim named by family members as Malcolm Brown.
