Two Suffolk police officers were suspended without pay two weeks ago stemming from a reported shots-fired incident in East Shoreham.
Sixth Precinct officers Patrick Steinbrecher and Daniel Boylan were off duty at the time. There were no injuries reported.
Details surrounding the incident were not immediately released.
The police department is conducting a criminal probe, and Internal Affairs is investigating.
The Suffolk PBA told News 12 it has been informed of the allegations but has not been provided any more information.
