2 Suffolk County men accused of taking Flock camera in Syosset

Police say 23-year-old Evren Daldal, of West Babylon, and 22-year-old Dayton Schell, of Ronkonkoma, got out of a vehicle near the intersection of Richmond Street and Willis Avenue on Monday and removed a police camera, along with the pole it was attached to, before fleeing the area.

Two Suffolk County men are facing charges after Nassau County police say they stole a Flock camera and the pole it was mounted on in Syosset.

Police say 23-year-old Evren Daldal, of West Babylon, and 22-year-old Dayton Schell, of Ronkonkoma, got out of a vehicle near the intersection of Richmond Street and Willis Avenue on Monday and removed a police camera, along with the pole it was attached to, before fleeing the area.

Investigators later located the alleged getaway vehicle on 3rd Street in West Babylon and arrested both men.

Daldal and Schell are each charged with grand larceny and criminal mischief.
