A house fire left two people displaced early Tuesday morning in Floral Park, according to authorities.
Crews received a call about the blaze on Verbena Avenue at 4:11 a.m. Officials say it began on the second floor and then spread to the attic.
Around 75 firefighters responded to the scene and controlled the flames within 30 minutes.
One firefighter was hospitalized for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
