Detectives say a 46-year-old man driving a Ford pick-up truck was exiting Tri-County Bazaar when he struck a bus stop enclosure.

Police say two pedestrians were struck by a pickup truck while sitting at a bus stop on Hempstead Turnpike Wednesday.
The incident happened in front of Tri-County Bazaar located at 3041 Hempstead Turnpike.
Detectives say a 46-year-old man driving a Ford pick-up truck was exiting Tri-County Bazaar when he struck a bus stop enclosure. They say a 45-year-old woman and an 18-year-old girl were sitting at the bus stop.
Both women suffered multiple injuries and are listed in critical but stable condition.
Police say the driver remained on the scene.
