Two MS-13 gang members have been convicted on murder charges in connection to a fatal 2017 Hempstead shooting.
Pedro Rivera and Carlos Flores were found guilty of killing Nelson Rodriguez.
As News 12 has previously reported, police say Rodriguez was walking on Front Street when Rivera walked behind him and shot him.
Authorities believe the victim was killed for being associated with a rival gang.
