Two men were arrested Saturday night for two separate incidents at a Wal-Mart in Valley Stream.
Police say Kirk McRae used a knife to threaten two women while on line at the register. When McRae was taken into custody, police say he ripped an officer's baton and baton holder from his duty belt. They also say that once in the squad car, McRae bit an officer.
During McRae's arrest, officers say Shane Bingham, of Queens, used his cell phone to take video of them. They asked Bingham to step back and when he did, they spotted a knife sticking out of his pocket.
Police say an officer was injured when Bingham resisted arrest by swinging his arms and kicking his legs.
