Officials says two people have been injured following a boating accident on the Great South Bay.
The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the state boat channel in Babylon.
News 12 Long Island has learned two boats collided near Hemlock Cove and one of the vessels started to take on water. The two passengers on that boat were not hurt.
However, two people in the other boat were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. They are expected to be OK.
There is no word on what caused the collision.
