2 former East Meadow nursing home workers indicted in connection with resident sex assault
The office of the Attorney General says two former workers
at an East Meadow nursing home have been indicted in the alleged sexual abuse
of a female resident.
Prosecutors say there was
also a cover-up at the Fulton Commons Care Center after the sex assault in the
fall of 2020.
Former nurse Daniel Persaud
is charged in the assault, and Carol Frawley, a former director of nursing, is
accused of falsifying business records to cover it up.
