Nearly two dozen Long Island schools are getting an "F" from the state.The state is asking 21 underperforming schools to refocus their curriculum and develop comprehensive plans for improvement.The schools are located in Hempstead, Huntington, Wyandanch, Manhasset, Roosevelt, Central Islip and South Country.The state says the schools are delivering low performance and lack of improvement on tests and graduation rates.
