Police say two masked gunmen forced their way into a house in Mastic and held a teenager at gunpoint early Saturday morning.
The victim?s friend, Wolik Matthews, says the teen is now nursing bruises to his face after being pistol-whipped by the burglars who invaded his Wood Avenue home at around 3 a.m.
According to Matthews, one of the armed men threatened the teen with a gun, while the other searched the house. About 10 minutes later, the burglars took off with a PlayStation game console and an unspecified amount of cash.
Police believe the Mastic home had been targeted by the burglars. So far, no arrests have been made.
