Two 19-year-olds were charged with inciting a riot after police in Gloucester County responded to multiple disturbance calls during a pop-up party they allegedly promoted on social media.

According to the Gloucester County Prosecutor, Glassboro police responded to multiple calls on June 29, 2025, for incidents including armed robbery, a shooting, fights, disturbances, a burglary, and a stolen vehicle.

Police later learned that the incidents coincided with a "Summer Block Party" that was advertised on social media through a flyer belonging to Serenity Hall, of Camden, and distributed by Elijah Evans, of Pine Hill. The flyer reached about 1,000 people, police said. Investigators also discovered communications between the two, as well as another juvenile, showing that they organized the event.

"The flyer also contained language encouraging disorderly and unlawful behavior toward law enforcement," the prosecutor said in a statement.

Hall and Evans were charged with inciting a riot. If found guilty, the charges carry a maximum sentence of 18 months in state prison.
