State parks were forced to close Wednesday due to the impact of Tropical Storm Isaias.
Jones Beach was among 16 state parks that were closed Wednesday, either because of too much water, no electricity or downed and dangerous trees.
Belmont, Bethpage, Connetquot and Heckscher were closed. Robert Moses was closed until 3 p.m.
Robert Moses was able to reopen because it had electricity, according to officials.
Jones Beach is expected to reopen Thursday morning, but the bathrooms will not be open. Port-a-potties will be available.
