16 fallen state troopers honored at Republic Airport at annual memorial ceremony

A bell tolled and each of the troopers' names were read aloud.

Sixteen state troopers were honored Tuesday in East Farmingdale for their sacrifices on the job.
A ceremony was held at Republic Airport to remember the members of Troop L who died in the line-of-duty dating back to 1924.
A bell tolled and each of the troopers' names were read aloud.
The ceremony also featured a memorial mass and helicopter flyover.
