From pens and pencils to notebooks and folders - one local nonprofit is helping kids start the school year with new supplies.

Mindy Richenstein started Supplies for Success 20 years ago.

Supplies for Success provides grade-specific school supplies to tens of thousands of children in grades pre-k to 12.

The organization partners with local schools, homeless and domestic violence shelters, county social service departments, food banks, local houses of worship, and other child service agencies.
