Eleven-year-old Matteo Lambert, from Virginia, raises money to help children fight cancer and Wednesday he took part in a 5K run at Eisenhower Park.
The run was all for Massapequa's Madison Milio, 8, who has been in a coma for the last year after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
News 12's Jamie Stuart asked Lambert if he's heard people call him a superhero before and he said, "I think these kids with cancer are the real superheroes."
Milio's parents say Madison received her second dose of radiation one year ago today and went to sleep and has been sleeping ever since.
Lambert has raised more than $100,000 to help kids fighting cancer.
