A total of 24 airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach will help with the recovery from Hurricane Milton.

Air National Guard members from Long Island are heading to Florida to help any way they can.
A total of 24 airmen from the 106th Rescue Wing in Westhampton Beach will help with the recovery from Hurricane Milton.
First, they are headed to where the storm made landfall and next they will start traveling to the hardest hit areas.
The airmen are trained EMTs who have extensive training in parachuting, scuba and driving survival skills.
