Police say a 10-year-old is now facing charges after being accused of shooting pepper-spray in his Uniondale school.

Northern Parkway Elementary in Uniondale was evacuated yesterday after police say a fifth-grader released the spray in a hallway.

Officials say 20 students and four faculty members were taken to the hospital with eye and throat irritation.

The fifth-grader was arrested and is charged with unlawfully possessing noxious material.

Police say the boy's parents are cooperating with investigators.

There is still no word on a possible motive of how he got the pepper-spray.
