A fire inside the basement of an East Flatbush residence left one person hurt on Tuesday, according to authorities.

Crews responded to the scene on East 32nd St. near Tilden Avenue. A ladder was deployed near the building as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

Officials say the victim’s injuries are minor. They were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
