Police are investigating a fire Wednesday in Nassau County that left one person dead.

Fire officials say the fire broke out just before 6 a.m. at a home on Hunt Lane in the village of Munsey Park.

The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Edward Abkarian. There were no other injuries. The cause of the fire has not been determined but police believe the fire to be non-suspicious in nature.
