Officials are investigating the cause of a house fire that left one firefighter injured in Copiague.
The fire broke out at the vacant home located on Dante Avenue around 2:15 a.m.
Copiague's Assistant Fire Chief Kyle Miller says it took about 70 firefighters from four different departments to get the situation under control. Miller says one firefighter fell and was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to officials, the home was boarded up and had some code violations that resulted in difficulties for firefighters to battle the blaze.
