An SUV jumped a curb and crashed into a crowd of people in Hempstead last night, killing one woman.
Police say the people were arguing at the corner of Linden Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard when the SUV slammed into them.
A 56-year-old woman was killed. Three other people were injured.
It's not yet clear what caused the SUV to go up on the curb.
