1 dead, 1 injured in Huntington Station house fire

A fire in Huntington Station last night killed a 76-year-old man.  Officers responded to a house fire on Dawson Street around 9 p.m. Thursday.  Police say Henry Lindemann and his 68-year-old sister,

A fire in Huntington Station last night killed a 76-year-old man. 
Officers responded to a house fire on Dawson Street around 9 p.m. Thursday. 
Police say Henry Lindemann and his 68-year-old sister, Diane Lindemann, were inside. Diane Lindemann was able to escape.
Firefighters entered the burning house and extracted Henry Lindemann, but he died at the hospital a short time later. 
Diane Lindemann was also transported to Huntington Hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. 
Detectives do not believe the fire is suspicious.
