One person was killed in a crash in Wantagh Sunday morning.
Police say 60-year-old Preston Stockman was heading east on Jerusalem Avenue in a Toyota Camry when the car veered onto the westbound lane.
The Camry sttuck a white Buick being driven by a 57-year-old Levittown woman, whose identity was not released. The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Stockman was taken to NUMC and was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is unclear, but police say no criminality is suspected. Both vehicles were removed from the scene for brake and safety inspections.
The crash shut down Jerusalem Avenue for several hours.
