Police say one man was killed and another was injured in a shooting Saturday night in Brentwood.
Shots rang out on Gibson Avenue just before 11 p.m., according to police.
Kenneth Evans, 24, was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The second man, an unidentified male in his 20s, was hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Neighbors who did not want to be identified said they recall hearing five or six shots. Some say they thought it was fireworks.
Police say no arrests have been made.
