WARNING: The following video may be disturbing to some viewers.

Disturbing video shows a newborn baby roughly handled by a nurse at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip.
The video is tough to watch and happened on Feb. 6 when the child was just two days old and in the neonatal ICU.
In the video, the baby was picked up, flipped around and then appears to be slammed back down onto the bassinet.
The video was filmed by the baby's father.
The child's grandmother spoke exclusively to News 12 saying “I didn't know what to do with myself. I didn't sleep for like three days. It was just really horrible.”
According to Catholic Health Services, an investigation was conducted following the incident and the registered nurse involved was fired.
The nurse has also been reported to the state Department of Health for further review.
The baby's family says the child is doing great and is thankful for that.
However, they also want to make sure no other newborn has to endure something like this.
It's not clear how long the nurse had been working at Good Samaritan University Hospital or why the curtain in the neonatal ICU was closed at the time.
