Mild - nearly warm - temperatures arrive to New Jersey over the next few days with highs in the lower to mid-50s in most spots. Today will be sunny, but clouds begin to build into Friday ahead of the rain.

Rain showers stretch across the state Friday afternoon, after 3 p.m., with breaks overnight. Saturday morning starts damp, but the rain returns into the afternoon and evening. It will be intermittent with totals to near 1".

Flooding is not a big threat with this storm as the rain is fairly broken and on and off. Temperatures spike, usually, on Saturday night, reaching nearly 60 in central New Jersey especially.

Temperatures then fall back to the 40s on Sunday with windy weather as gusts near 25-30 mph roll through.
